Fair Fight: comparison pages a reader can check
Fair Fight is a skill for Claude that builds comparison pages a reader can check: "A vs B", "alternatives to X", roundups and "which one for my situation" pages. Every price, limit and requirement carries its source and the day it was verified. It also audits a page you already have.
One of the 14 skills in the pack
Ask it in your own words
- "Write a page comparing my app with its two main competitors."
- "I need an "alternatives to X" page. People have been leaving since the price change."
- "Is my comparison page still right? I last checked prices in spring."
- "we're cheaper and better, just make it look convincing"
What happens next
- It decides if the page is worth writing. It reads page one for the query (about three searches), or reuses an Odds Maker verdict, then picks the page type.
- It gathers the evidence. Each fact is read on the vendor's own page and copied word for word into a facts table, with URL and date.
- It writes, then scores. A conditional verdict, a decision table by situation, the contradictions between sources, your own product last. Then twelve gates, each PASS, FAIL or PENDING.
What you get back
- The page draft, in Markdown by default
- facts.csv: every fact with its literal string, its source, its date and its status
- gate-score.md: the gates as counts and the next recheck dates
- In audit mode: each sentence of your page against its source today, with the exact correction

The decision to write a comparison of Claude skill packs for SEO, and the first facts gathered for it.
Is Fair Fight warranted? Yes, for one page. Its gate 0 maps [the] verdict to NARROW.
Contradiction: [one free pack's] stars: 4.1k on [a page] dated 7 October 2026; 9,461 "as of June 22" on [another]; 18,777 on the GitHub API today.
Do not claim: best, cheapest, only, most complete; any rating; that free packs are worse; star or install counts without a date.Three sources gave three figures for the same count: the comparison being prepared keeps the one read at the source, with its date.
What it will not do
- It will not write a verdict decided in advance ("say we are the fastest"): a superlative needs every product in the panel checked.
- It refuses invented ratings, fake reviews, made-up benchmarks and undisclosed affiliate links, and offers the disclosed version.
- It never fills in facts about your own product: a missing one blocks publication until you confirm it.
- It cannot know search volume, rankings, indexing or whether assistants will cite the page. Its legal notes are not legal advice.
What it needs
Claude Code or the Claude apps, with web search and page access. Its four scripts run on Python 3.9 or later. Otherwise there is a manual route, where you open the vendor page and paste the sentence.

Where it hands over
- Truth Serum: It lists the places where one page gives two values for the same fact.
- Street Cred: Once the page is live, it plans how to offer it to roundup editors.
Questions about this skill
Can the page feature my own product?
Yes. It goes last, limits first, with the same standard of proof and an "I make this" disclosure. The page says it is not an independent review.
How does the page stay true?
Each fact gets a recheck date according to how fast it moves, and facts_audit.py lists the overdue ones. The visible check date changes only after a real re-verification.
